About Didsbury for Palestine (D4P)
D4P is a diverse and inclusive group of Didsbury residents – from a wide range of communities and political backgrounds, united by a shared goal of freedom and justice for Palestine.
D4P stands for
- An immediate end to the genocide in Gaza and a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and the West Bank
- Unrestricted access to humanitarian aid in Gaza
- An end to all UK military and intelligence cooperation with and arms sales to Israel
- Divestment from companies supporting Israel
Didsbury for Palestine does not prescribe the details of a just solution to the historic oppression of the people of Palestine but holds that any such solution must entail the end of the illegal occupation, equal rights for Palestinian citizens, and the right of return for Palestinian refugees.
D4P hold rallies every Wednesday between 5.30 and 6.30pm, alternating between the centre of Didsbury village one week and outside the Co-Op on Burton Road the next.
D4P may also inform about other protests and campaigns in the Withington constituency, Manchester and across Greater Manchester.
