Do you wonder why D4P are so determined to protest week after week?

It is the horrific war crimes and the suffering in Palestine which make us angry. The truth about Palestinian dispossession and persecution has been hidden from the public for years, whether by sanitisation in the media or by the weasel words of our corrupt politicians.

Do you know the full extent of the lies told by successive governments, to hide their role in the continuing Gazan genocide by the UK’s provision of weapons, intelligence and diplomatic support to Israel, in defiance of international law?    

The lies are unravelling fast and the scale of institutional complicity can no longer be hidden.   In February 2026 a senior minister in Starmer’s government published an email he had written seven months earlier, in which he admitted to being aware of what has long been evident to the world’s leading human rights lawyers and genocide scholars. In so doing the minister inadvertently exposed the criminality of the government of which he is still a member:

“Israel is committing war crimes before our eyes. Their government talks the language of ethnic cleansing, and I have met with our own medics out there who describe the most chilling and distressing scenes of calculated brutality against women and children…..  This is rogue state behaviour. Let them pay the price as pariahs with sanctions applied to the state, not just a few ministers.”
